European Disaster Volunteers (EDV) is an England and Wales Registered Charity that works in disaster zones worldwide to help communities recover from the devastating effects of natural disaster.

Volunteering with EDV is different from many other volunteer opportunities in two major ways: we offer free volunteer opportunities overseas and at home, and we believe that anyone can make an impact in a disaster zone. You don't need to be a doctor or structural engineer to assist in the recovery of communities devastated by disaster. Even if you can't join us as an overseas disaster volunteer, you can still make an impact volunteering from home.
